This is our final plan for the weekend. With poor conditions along the west, we are moving to the Copper Coast.


Those Meeting Friday Evening
Meet at Kilfarrasy Beach in your own time Friday afternoon / evening.

From here we will paddle the 1.5km east just around the corner to camp on a secluded beach for the night. With people arriving at different times, might I suggest you drop me a text message with when you hope to arrive. It is only around the corner from the car park and we can hop over and back to shuttle people across as needed.

Paddle SATURDAY & Those Arriving Saturday Morning
We will set off from Kilfarrasy at 11am, heading west along the coast. You will pack your tent and everything you need for the two days.

Our destination is Trá na mBó, where we will camp Saturday night.

Bunmahon Village is a 10 minute walk from the beach, with Restaurant and Bar for Saturday evening. Otherwise, some might decide to bring their food and everything as needed.


Sunday Paddle
This will be the return leg back to Kilfarrasy car park, moving off whenever we break camp.



I will email everyone who has registered with my contact number. I will also post here Friday morning when I have a better idea myself when I expect to arrive at Kilfarrasy on Friday afternoon / evening. Otherwise, people can post their own arrival times below.

I will meet up with ye on Saturday morning and launch from Kilfarrasy.

I hope to get down to Killfarrasy for lunchtime on Friday. I will paddle from there to the Metal Man and back Friday afternoon. On returning to Kilfarrasy, I will load up camping kit and paddle to the camping spot.
