I'd love to have a crack off the tide race at Strangford Lough, but I wouldn't tackle it without company on the water.
HW Belfast will be at 12:24, so the stream should begin at about 8, so maybe get on the water about 11, ride the stream into the lough, then explore the lough for a bit. The stream outbound should start around 14:00, so ride that back out to the start point.
