Sea Kayak stolen overnight Dublin D06 area

My lovely sea kayak was stolen from the roof of my van parked on-street overnight.
Romany Explorer, kevlar, white below yellow above with red trim. Foot pump. Tow rope. Rough home-made backrest.
No name branded or anything.
20 years old but there are still a lot of good intentions invested in it.

Two guys on foot. Canoe BELIEVE it?
It's before the courts so I amn't sure I can say any more.
It was safe and sound within the hour, apparently. 5.30 yesterday morning.
The owner was traced back through social media so my thanks to anyone and everyone that retweeted or copied anyone anywhere.

An interesting detail.
Gardai had possession of my kayak within an hour of it going missing in the early hours Monday, but they had no idea how to trace an owner. Several Gardai googled away but got nowhere by shift’s end.
One Garda then went home to his mother who, presenting him with a rasher and egg, as mammies do, asked had he had an interesting shift. When he mentioned the case of the mysterious kayak, she produced a photo and asked if that was it. The mammy follows my daughter on Instagram.
The mammy is enrolling at Templemore as we speak.
