Connemara meet 25th/26th July
Posted: Mon Jul 13, 2020 12:14 am
The Connemara meet is fast approaching.
White sandy beaches, crystal clear waters, a backdrop of mountains and a plethora of islands to
explore in good company, what more could you ask for!
Well, maybe good weather so light a few candles, do a rain-dance or sweet-talk whatever God you have influence with.
The plan is for a Saturday night offshore wild camp on some island near McDara.
Friday night tbd.
The plan will include an onshore briefing on Sat morning to facilitate those arriving that morning.
There will be the usual Sat and Sunday paddles.
Details of launch point and camp location will be finalised by Wed 22nd
depending on the forecast and who has signed up.
As mentioned in a previous post meets this year are only open to members and you must sign up as
we need to manage numbers and facilitate covid-19 contact tracing.
