Donegal update

At the moment it looks quite windy for next weekend in Donegal: force 5 to 7 SW. The meet is to go ahead, bar a hurricane, but just where in the vast county of Donegal is not a decision we can make at this point. A meeting point for Saturday morning will be posted here on Thursday, and it is our intention not to deviate from this plan in order to help people with their travel plans.
It would be helpful if we were to get an idea of numbers planning to join us. If you are not in the habit of logging into the bulletin board you could txt me on 087-6712335. If you do not know Mary or me it would be good to know what level you are paddling at too,

Gavan

Hi,

I\'ll be travelling to Donegal at the weekend...hoping to kayak but not adverse to supping on pints and watching the wind go by.

No way is that tent in beautiful wind-free Donegal.
It is without doubt the last tent standing after one of those big music festivals like Electric Picnic, Oxygen or Slane Castle.
Evidence not Donegal: No sea, no turf footings, no Daniel O\'Donnell look alikes, no Mary Butler look a likes, no rain etc

Evidence for music festival: Poorly pitched tent, plastisc 4 pack tie, red bull container( squashed), CROWD CONTROL BARRIERS, red tape, flat field, no sheep, no cows, etc.
