Well she did it, Niamh paddled from Baltimore round Mizen and Three Castle Head into a F5 NE and up the coast to Dunmanus Harbour on 16/8 having set out 52 days earlier on 25/6/16 just 27 days after her 18th birthday, so was 18 and 11 weeks on completion. she did the trip entirely solo and unsupported without a tent or camping stove, so bivying bag and cold food most of the way, although she had hospitality of local paddlers and friends in Clare, Malin, Portrush, Howth and Tramore. Thanks, you know who you are!

I like that spirit of travelling light,
simple camping and simple food, not over relying on the modern communication technologies.
