I\'m glad I wasn\'t in that group. When we headed out to the aran Islands in thick fog at approx 9pm. We hit Inisheer dead on although we used a bearing 10 degrees north of it. and landed on Inishman about 1 in the morning.
Anyone can make a mistake with navigation and fair play to the group for letting us know as it will remind us to be more careful when working out bearings.
I would also recommend bearing off, at least then when you hit land you know whether to go let or right to your destination.
