I am looking into buying a kayak for going on trips, just wondering what kayaks are good to begin with and what price around will i need to pay for a relatively good one. Is there any website or contact in ISKA that could help on where to begin?

Thanks :)

Try out as many boats as you can, and definitely do not buy unless you try it out.

Your best bet is to try a few as Des says, in a local club/group who have different Sea boats. See the various ISKA areas and contacts for more details for your area.
