Hey folks.
This years northern meet is ready for registration.
We are still unclear as to the final plan but have settled for a plan that might need some adaptation.
The plan is still loose and Neptune still has the final say however I am hoping below will be the format.
Saturday: Early meet at Port Muck to organise shuttles to Carrick or Whitehead. A days paddling from Carrick/Whitehead to Port Muck around the Gobbins. Overnight Camping at the carpark pitch. Campervans are welcome as are tents.
Sunday: Early out to paddle past Larne and up to Ballygally or (if the weather is good) a paddle out to the Maidens and back. Camp at Port Muck again
Monday: Browns bay morning paddle or port muck tidal play and early finish.
This is the hopeful plan but we shall see what the weather brings.
If you are interested in coming along then please register using the link below.

looking forward to paddling with you all.
Northern Meet - A Mucky Oul Weekend
Re: Northern Meet - A Mucky Oul Weekend
Hello folks.
I am sure you have been watching the forecast as diligently as I have.
Looking at the weekend ahead, the weather is not playing ball and despite it looking like it might drop to allow a good weekend of paddling, the wind forecast has increased, especially for Sunday, meaning we would likely get one day of paddling in and nothing else.
So I am postponing the event until the following weekend 31st August - 1st September. My long term forecast shows a better window for what we want.
I apologise if that scuppers anyones plans, however I have to think of what is practical and safe for everyone.
If you cannot attend the following weekend, just send me a private message, otherwise I will assume everyone I have listed is still coming.
If this means you can come along when you previously couldn't, registration is still open.
