Hi all,

We've organised REC3 first-aid courses for ISKA members.
We all hope we'll never need to use it, but it's great to have the skills if there is an injury or incident on a trip. The courses are subsidised by ISKA and great value.

!! UPDATE 9th Dec: Booking out fast. 1 place left on Dublin course, 4 available on Clare course!
Lots of interest in a west cork course, it’s in the works for later in the year.

Clare course deferred - was 15/16 Jan, tentative new date 26/27 February.

Unfortunately due to covid19 and the hands-on practical nature of the REC3 course, it doesn’t make sense to go ahead with the Clare course at this time. Those signed up will be emailed in next few days with further arrangements.

This doesn’t affect the Dublin course on 5/6 Feb - will assess that in next week or two.

Apologies again, but it’s the best way to assure everyone’s safety.

Just wondering what time the courses are running at in Clare on the Sat and Sunday. Just trying to plan ahead. #donegaltoclareroadtrip

Hi Hugh,

Unfortunately the Clare course has hit another hiccup - trainer not available - I’ve emailed all who’ve registered.
If it’s on, it’ll be full day Sat and Sunday - about 9am-6pm, possibly finishing an hour earlier Sunday.
I’m trying to source another trainer now, will confirm as soon as I can….

We have a trainer for the Clare course - Stephen Dillon - so it’s going ahead on Feb 26/27.
It’s full. I’ll email those registered.
