Anglesey trip :)

Here follows a sketchy outline of something loosely resembling a plan...

Image

Ynys Môn (Anglesey), an island just (100km) off the east coast of Ireland... world renowned as training ground to BCU leaders, for its overfalls, tide races, conservation areas, rocky shorelines, pristine beaches, the South Stack, the Menai Straits, Penrhyn Mawr, so much to choose from, small enough to travel across in a short time and an island big enough to be a 'near perfect all weather paddle destination' . https://seakayakingwales.com/tag/south-stack/

We will be based at https://angleseyoutdoors.com/ . There's room for one more male, sharing with yours truly :) , to join us there, but if anyone else is thinking of coming along there are B&Bs, hotels and holiday rentals nearby and still available.
Pay Sea Kayak Wales direct then contact me to arrange logistics transport/ferry etc.

We have now fulfilled accommodation at Anglesey Outdoors and more of our 'party' have secured an Airbnb 10/15mins away with a few beds to spare. So still plenty room for more to join in.

Anglesey, the movie...

So glad we managed the trip to Anglesey. As the date neared, folk were dropping like flies. It just might've been the first of a handful of events we have this year, given the restrictions around the CV19 pandemic. Fingers crossed, we'll all be back on the water together soon.

Unfortunately, my action cameras had gone into isolation on their return from my brothers family ski trip, so I've had to rely on a few handheld shots and donations from others to piece the movie/slideshow together.

We were very happy to rely on the expert guiding, history, culture and craic from Gethin, Paul & Rich of Sea Kayaking Wales and I for one will certainly be back.

Bit of an auld vidjyo there - did my best to make yiz insanely jealous...
