ISKA Symposium 2019 Donegal
Posted: Sat Aug 17, 2019 12:47 am
This year’s Symposium will take place in north-west Donegal on 4th/5th/6th October. A wonderful coastline peppered with islands awaits us with spectacular and varied paddling options for both good and bad weather!
The Symposium will be centred around the Errigal An Oige Hostel. We’ve also sourced a few self-catering houses nearby and have done a deal with a nearby hotel Ostan Loch Altan for those who prefer a bit more comfort. The hostel has shared rooms and there are a limited number of double rooms available in houses and also in the hotel. If you want a double just book as two singles - there's a space later on the form where you can say who you want to share with and if a double is needed and we should be able to accommodate you. Sat night’s dinner will be a short walk down the road from the hostel in the Dunlewey centre. There’ll be a shuttle Saturday night to bring people to/from the hotel (12mins away), it will also pick up / drop off from the hostel and houses if it’s raining.

We have the usual mix of full-day & half day paddles at various levels from L2 up, incident mgmt., rolling, Greenland paddle tryout, etc – more details closer to the event.
This year we’re offering an early bird discount to members. As there’s a limited amount of each accommodation type, to increase your chances of getting your preference, get your booking in early!
It'll also really help with the planning if we get bookings and payment in early. Don't worry if you have to cancel for some reason we'll refund you - details are on the form.
The Booking form is now online at:
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIp ... A/viewform
I’ll send out a form shortly for anyone who wants to print and fill out a paper copy.
Post any questions here or email iskasymp@gmail.com
Looking forward to seeing you all there.
