We will hold an ISKA Mini meet on July 10th/11th. This meet will involve Fishing and Foraging. You will receive expert advice on fishing, edible seaweeds, edible shore plants and periwinkles and all that mullarkey. It is a skills based weekend and there will be some paddling but no long paddles. The highlight of the weekend will be cooking the various foraged items. It is an onshore meet in a venue where you can camp or bring a camper van. We are bringing in some expertise to make sure we don't starve for want of knowing what we are eating or worse still - end up poisoning ourselves.
The accommodation and materials, etc will be paid for centrally. It is difficult to give an exact price at the moment but it will cost in the region of 55 euro. Deposits will have to be paid in advance. The event will take place on the West Coast.
