Re: Wild Atlantic Challenge

Reply received from Sea Kayaking Rep on Canoeing Ireland's TDU...... "I've asked them about it and all members within an affiliated club must sign up. It boils down to the insurance cover provided and any clubs who do not comply are outwith Canoeing Irelands remit" A definitive answer. Hop...

E mail submitted to Canoeing Ireland on Friday 9th February....... To whom it may concern, The Irish Sea Kayaking Association are currently considering affiliation to Canoeing Ireland. Before we make that decision, there are a couple of questions we would like a definitive answer to, referring to yo...

Re: Wild Atlantic Challenge

Let’s be very clear here, ISKA would very much prefer to be affiliated to CI. Among other things, the committee would only be too delighted to be in a position to obtain discounted insurance rates for any member wishing to avail of it.

CI’s new rules came into effect on the 5th November 2016 which...

Re: Wild Atlantic Challenge

Donal,

ISKA membership does not cover this. It looks like a similar set up to the Ocean to City race, wherein even CI membership doesn't cover it. Hope this helps

Cheers,
Chris
