Northside paddle 20th July

The above, scheduled for Howth 7.00 PM, is leaderless just at the minute. I have offered to fill in, but I cannot transport a boat to Howth for 7.00. I could get there by bike with all my other gear. Anyone with two boats intending going ?

Re:Northside paddle 20th July

No spare boat available so I can\'t do this evening\'s paddle. Brian Forrest will post a note as to what if anything is going down.
Sorry

Therefore can any potential replacement leader who will be in the area please check in with me to that effect, and secondl...

Re:Question Tidal predictions.

<t>H2Obaby is right. However 99% of paddlers don\'t know why there are two tides a day in the first place ! Answer, see the diagram. It is because there is a bulge on the side of Earth facing the moon and the side facing away. Easy to understand why gravity would put a bulge under the moon, but why ...

Re:D Walsh, Question.

<t>Sorry to be so slow responding Mo. The correct spelling I think is Kishoo. I can\'t remember what the letters stand for, but Karrimor is the first right enough. It is really just a lightweight flysheet, with a breathing hole on top. It was invented and became standard kit for walking groups after...

Dublin South Paddle 29th June

<r>I have been volunteered to lead this meet, tonight 7.00. The weather is a little iffy, 4/5 SW, but the rain should hold off. I see there has been no announcement about it, so lets gauge interest please. It was down for Greystones 7.00, but that is a little hard for some to reach on time.<br/> Can...

7.15 Bullock is the seemingly agreed compromise.
