So nice to see enthusiasm. Rathlin trips are totally weather dependent - we will have to guarantee windstill and bright sunshine for the whole month. Plans are coming together and I'll post a programme once the organisers have one drawn up. I hope to see you before then at some of the other meets. J.

Last two weeks in May is Rathlin Sound Festival -- the usual restrictions on camping are lifted - kayakers specifically welcomed by Community Council ... fur, feather and water

Thankx johndempsey. Is just I don't get out much !! :) The atmosphere was terrific and I was stunned by the boat handling skills of everyone. If you really want to re-visit - there's a couple of nice wild camp sites round Fairhead and Torr .... kayak friendly ... handy for Rathlin .... There's water...
