Just to echo what everyone else has said - a great weekend both on and off the water!
As always a great craic and social time afterwards in the local hostelry. When I got back I understand how teenagers feel coming home from sleepovers (sleepover = very little sleep)
Many thanks to all involved in leading and organising the trip- Gavin, Martin and we also had the expert local knowledge of Mattie and Chris explaining the features along the way.
On Friday afternoon the conditions on top of the lighthouse were very foggy and we expected we might not be able to go around the next day. the rest of the country was basking in glorious sunshine by all accounts.
On Saturday morning, Martin made the phonecall to weather Gods and gave the thumbs up: Thankfully it then changed to this for Saturday: And this on Sunday (Kilkee): Stephen
