Who is the course for?

If you are an active sea paddler looking to develop your knowledge and skills in an advanced sea environment then this is the course for you. This course will help you develop the necessary skills to safely lead and journey in advanced sea environment.

Previous experience – The candidate must provide documentary evidence of a minimum of 24 varied, quality, advance sea kayak days in 3 different sea areas. This should include at least one multi-day trip.

•Due to the nature of this award and its important remit for leadership it is required that candidates show 3 days (2 days and 2 nights) logged experience training in leadership and personal skills, safety and rescue and must include an overnight camp.
•Recognised first aid min 16 hours
•Have completed Open water navigation module or equivalent.
•Aged 18yrs or above
