4 Star Leader Award Training (Sea Kayaking)

Course Dates:
• Friday, 24 to Sunday, 26 May 2013
• Friday, 18 to Sunday, 20 October 2013

Course pre-requisites:
• BCU 3 Star Sea Kayak, old 4 Star or similar logged experience
• It is not a prerequisite, but we recommend attending a one day Coastal Navigation training day or equivalent prior to attending your 4 Star Leader Award Training. The Coastal Navigation courses are running on Friday, 24 May and Friday, 18 October so you may wish to consider booking onto this course on the same weekend as your 4 Star training for an extra £42.50. 4 Star Coastal Navigation

Who is the course for?
• This programme is aimed at those wishing to develop the necessary skills to lead journeys in a moderate environment – up to and including force 3 open water.
• The 4 Star Leader Award is a prerequisite for those level 2 coaches wishing to attain their moderate endorsement.
