I have just stumbled upon the above and to say they are a huge improvement on what went before is a dreadful understatement. Its even head and shoulders above the fairly recent E&N volume published a handful of years ago by the same editor. Modern and user friendly in appearance and layout, the content and photography is way up there and may even rival a certain other publication.
Retail price €36.50.
No One publication will ever do the whole job. Oileáin\'s mission statement is to describe in detail and encourage the exploration of those rocks and reefs and islets and places and things which The Pilot and the Directions often treat as obstructions en route to other better and more important objectives, so there\'s room for everybody.
Lovely helicopter shots, and some other water level ones look like they replicate Oileáin just a little too often ?
Interesting times.
