Thanks very much for a very enjoyable Symposium. Thank you for all the hard work that went into putting it all together, John, Margaret and all.

I only made day 1 but it was very enjoyable and thanks to Óisín and Eddie and all the other leaders who took the Intermediate trip out on Saturday.

Great to see how much was raised for the RNLI too!!

Those of you who attended the 2018 symposium in Schull may remember the talk given by Fionn Ferreira on the Saturday evening. Fionn spoke about his project on removing microplastics from the world’s oceans.

Well Fionn was named the overall winner of the 2019 Google Science Fair. This is an annual science competition open to students all around the world between the ages of 13 and 18.

Well done Fionn!!
