Sea kayaking on the Barrow

Kilcullen Canoe Club is running a race on the Barrow at Athy on Sunday 8th July.

The race is open to sea kayak boats - there will be a separate sea kayak category if more than 3 turn up!

The course is very suitable for sea kayaks - the Barrow is wide and there are no funny things like wiers and rapids to contend with.

The race starts at midday and the course is 10 Km long. That should take you just over an hour to complete (less time if you are fit).
