Am travelling to Tollymore Outdoor Centre (Newcastle Co Down) on Sunday March 24th for one full day (no overnight) to try out some of their sea kayak fleet (see inventory below). The Centre can facilitate 8 kayakers max for this \'try out\' day. Currently, there are 2 places left.

None of these actual kayaks are for sale. The idea is that we each get the opportunity to try out three or four kayaks / sets of paddles etc ourselves in live conditions - most likely Newcastle coast or Strangford Lough.

One of the resident leaders of Canoe Sport at the Centre (BCU level 5 sea kayak) will be on hand to join us on the water and answer any queries re pros and cons of hull shape, boat design, construction etc. Same re paddle shape & design.

It\'s an 0900hrs start and the day finishes at 1630hrs approx. Cost for the day is £35 per person including packed lunch.
