SeaScrapes Ireland circumnavigation (May-June)

Post by MOFarrell » Mon Apr 17, 2017 1:26 pm

All,

I am Solo paddling anti-clockwise around Ireland to raise funds for Pieta House and the RNLI.
It's also a bucket list thing - something I would like to do before I get too decrepit.

I plan to head off from Bulloch Harbour on May 1 (Bank Holiday Monday) at around 10:30 AM, heading North with the tide.

Social Media & contact info:
You can follow my journey on https://www.facebook.com/seascrapes and twitter @Seascrapes - the name of my kayak and also my marine radio call-sign.
I will use Endomondo (https://www.endomondo.com/home Mick O'Farrell) to track each days trip and I plan to post a daily update.

I would welcome any company and support I pick up on passage.
If you are in the coastal neighbourhood as I pass by send a text, a message, a radio call (Ch 77) or, if really close, wave :D .

The Fundraising bit:
If you are interested in making a donation to Pieta House and/or RNLI you can do so on https://www.everydayhero.com/ie/ or directly to the bank at Bank (BIC - AIBKIE2D IBAN - IE98 AIBK 9332 4446 7060 14).
I have a few hundred euro committed before I start, so it is no harm in spreading the word.

Looking forward to meeting you as I pass by .... :)

Regards,
Michael O'Farrell (Seascrapes)
