paddling in Norway

Postby cormacdoran » Sat Oct 26, 2013 7:47 pm

Hi folks,
I\'m trying to organise a trip to Norway in late August/ early September for 2 people. Can anybody offer advice on transport options? We have camper van but it seems to be very expensive to get it across by ferry or we can camp and rent boats if we fly over. We are hoping to go for about 18 days all in.
Cheers,

If you get up as far as the Lofoten Islands (above the arctic circle), Janns Adventures in Kabelvog (5min from Svolvaer) rents boats and gear. Definitely worth trying to make it that far - it\'s awesome country. You can also get cheap digs in Kabelvog Folkenschol - not sure if that\'s how you spell it, but it\'s just up from the big wooden church.
