Accommodation on Cape Clear

Post by DaveWalsh » Sat Oct 26, 2013 7:51 pm

I have just become aware that BirdWatch have developed a welcoming policy towards non-birders (their term) with regard to the observatory (their term) or hostel (our term) right on the North harbour inner, a \"carry\" (our term) of about 10 metres. It probably shuts down after the autumn passage migration (their term), say late October (our term), and reopens before the spring passage (their term), say March (our term)?
I don\'t have phone numbers or cost etc but I am sure Google might ?

Sounds good Dave. On what terms though!

Great job to get the Irish sea-kayaking community back into contact again. Well done to John and Conor on sorting that one. An onerous task I'm sure. Sennen

Hi all,

For those of you interested in accommodation on Cape Clear, a couple of us stayed in the Cape Clear Hostel recently in South Harbour. It's right on the beach, Richie was vey accommodating and would like to see more guests arrive by kayak.

His email address is info@capeclearhostel.com

Cheers,

Jason.
