A long time in the water

Condolences to the deceased. The other 9 people were up to 5 hours in the water, no immersion clothing, just lifejackets, an amazing length of time to be in the water and survive. One would not have thought it possible. Food for thought. Well done to the rescue personnel. http://rnli.org/NewsCentre/...

Re: Oileáin Records

A very fine read indeed. who is the lady beside him.She looks like the second best nurse in Ireland, cannot remember her name though. :D
Irelands finest book???? For a kayaker, probably.

Sue and Sonja around the country by kayak

On a couple of recent kayak trips, especially over in the big Atlantic, I have often thought of the girls and the trials and tribulations that they must have endured on their remarkable trip, A truly remarkable achievement for them, Very very well done Sue and Sonja..... https://www.headstrong.ie/20...

Re: Tents

Hi Mary, many thanks for your reply, I had another tent in mind a Vango Banshee but they had no 3 man when I went to buy so I ended up getting a Vango Halo 3. It meets most of the criteria you mention Outer first........Entrance both sides.........Porch..ish, it is there though not terribly big........
