Re: The truth at last!

I resemble that remark Sir. I am still alive and kicking. It is nice to see "He who eats razor blades for breakfast"
is as sharp as ever.

Re: Icom-M71 VHF Radio

Hi just my 2 cents worth. I use the 6 AA battery cassette and it is very good but be aware that your radio uses them very quickly when in frequent use and on high power. I usually buy a fresh lot before heading away.

Re: Research into sea kayaking incidents in Ireland

Re: We don't need no education ?

A very good article and highlights a lot of the problems/difficulties when an activity is highjacked by "experts". I started sea kayaking in the late eighties and can recognise a similar development within the u.k and Ireland. It sometimes seems that the only priority is getting qualificat...

Re: ISKA 2017 Symposium

Re: ISKA Committee Meet & Email

Hi all, I have not gone away either Mr Walsh. I have been following the insurance debate and it is good to see opinions expressed. I also note a comment regarding ISKA not having a constitution. That is another dangerous topic. I have held positions in ISKA over the years and when controversy about ...

Re: ISKA June 14th/15th Meet?

Hi, The owner of the Lighthouse bar and restaurant will allow camping in her garden. It is not a very big area so be sensible when pitching. The lady also runs an excellent B&B on the same premises and the food is very good. See reports from last meet here a few years ago. Gavan Sheridan will be...

Re: CATITWE 17/18 MAY

Hi, I would like to thank all who attended the weekend and who partook of the meal. The weather played a big part in the reduced numbers but the quality was there. Friday was not too bad with a small craft warning for morning and afternoon with breeze moderating in evening. Many people managed to gr...
